Workshop Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Skidemy on the Snow workshop (Livigno, 3–5 February 2027).
01Organiser
The event “Skidemy in Pista” (hereinafter “the Workshop”) is organised by Skidemy Srl, with registered office at Via Tuscolana 299, 00181 Rome (RM), tax code and VAT no. 18478051008, represented by its legal representative Filippo Ranaldi, e-mail skidemyoffice@gmail.com.
Registering for the Workshop entails full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
02Subject
The Workshop is a three-day ski camp held in Livigno (SO) on 3, 4 and 5 February 2027, on a private slope reserved for participants, under the technical direction of instructors Thomas Tagliaferri, Andrea Testa and Stefano Belingheri.
The Workshop has a limited number of places: 30 places are available and registrations are accepted in order of receipt of payment.
03Participation fee and what it includes
The participation fee is € 1,690 per person, in a double room.
The fee includes
- A private slope reserved exclusively for Workshop participants
- 4-star or 3-star hotel, subject to availability, half board, double room (3 nights)
- Welcome aperitif and SPA access
- Ski pass for the duration of the Workshop
- Skidemy gift material (t-shirt, supplements, neck warmer)
- 3 days of on-snow workshop with the Skidemy instructors
- Two video-analysis sessions with technical correction by the instructors
- Nordica ski test and Carv sessions
The fee does NOT include
- Lunches
- Travel and transfers to and from Livigno
- Personal ski equipment and any rental
- Ski/accident insurance, mandatory and at the participant's expense (art. 5)
- Personal extras at the hotel, drinks outside half board, tips
- Anything not expressly listed among the included items
A single room is available on request and subject to availability, with a supplement of € 200.
04Registration, payment and confirmation
Registration is made by completing the registration form and paying by bank transfer using the details shown on the form itself.
Payment may be made, at the participant's choice, in one of the following two ways:
- payment of the full amount at the time of registration;
- a deposit of € 1,000 at booking and the balance by 30 November 2026.
Payment of the € 1,000 deposit, together with the completed form, gives rise to the booking of the place, which is reserved for the participant until the balance deadline.
Registration is confirmed upon the Organiser's receipt of the fully completed form and the receipt of the bank transfer for the full amount. Submitting the form without payment does not constitute a booking nor does it give any right to a place.
Failure to pay the balance by 30 November 2026 is treated as a withdrawal: the place is released and the refund scale in art. 6 applies to the deposit already paid.
Requests exceeding the available places will be placed on a waiting list and contacted again in the event of withdrawal by other participants.
05Participation requirements
Participation in the Workshop is subject to meeting all of the following requirements:
- Technical level. The Workshop is reserved for advanced skiers, from level 5 upwards. The Organiser reserves the right to verify the declared level and, in the event of clear incompatibility with the technical programme or with group safety, to reassign the participant to other activities.
- Age. Participants must be of legal age. Minors may participate only if accompanied and with the written consent of whoever holds parental responsibility.
- Medical certificate. A copy of a valid medical certificate of fitness for non-competitive sport must be sent, before the start of the Workshop, to skidemyoffice@gmail.com. Without it, participation in the on-snow activities cannot be permitted and will not give rise to any refund.
- Insurance. Participants must hold ski/accident insurance valid for the period and activities of the Workshop, including third-party liability and, where possible, on-piste rescue. The cover is arranged and paid for by the participant, who undertakes to provide it independently.
- Equipment. Skis in good condition, suited to the level and discipline, and a protective helmet mandatory for all on-snow activities.
06Cancellation by the participant and refunds
Withdrawal must be communicated in writing to skidemyoffice@gmail.com. The date of receipt of the communication is decisive. Because the Organiser incurs non-recoverable costs well in advance (private slope, hotel, instructors, ski pass), the following refund scale applies:
| Notice of withdrawal | Refund of the amount paid |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days before the start | Refund of 50% of the amount paid |
| From 60 to 31 days before | Refund of 25% of the amount paid |
| From 30 days before up to the start date, no-show or abandonment | No refund |
Transfer of the place. Up to 15 days before the start, the participant may name a replacement, provided that person meets all the requirements of art. 5 and subject to the Organiser's written acceptance. In that case no penalty applies and the transfer is free of charge.
Right of withdrawal. The Workshop is a leisure-activity service with a specific performance date: for this type of contract, art. 59(1)(n) of the Consumer Code excludes the 14-day right of withdrawal provided for distance purchases. The cancellation conditions set out in this article therefore apply.
Interruption of the Workshop for reasons attributable to the participant (injury, illness, withdrawal, removal under art. 10) does not give rise to any refund, even partial, of the days not used. Participants are advised to check that such events are covered by their own insurance policy.
07Cancellation or postponement by Skidemy
The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Workshop in the two cases set out in points 7.1 and 7.2, to which different consequences apply.
7.1 — Failure to reach the minimum number of participants. If the number of registered participants does not reach the minimum of 14, the Organiser may cancel the Workshop by giving at least 20 days' notice before the start date. In this case the participant is entitled, at their choice, to a full refund of the amount paid or to a voucher of equal value usable for the next edition. The refund is made within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
7.2 — Force majeure. Force majeure means events not attributable to the Organiser, including weather or snow conditions incompatible with safe conduct, closure of the lifts, measures by the authorities, or the subsequent unavailability of the slope or accommodation. In such cases the Organiser returns to the participant all sums it is able to recover from its suppliers. For services already purchased for the participant and not recoverable — in particular hotel accommodation and the ski pass — the Organiser, instead of a cash refund, makes those services available to the participant, who may use them directly on the scheduled dates, and refunds the remaining part of the fee corresponding to services not provided. The participant may alternatively choose a voucher of equal value usable for the next edition, or participation in the Workshop postponed to a new date, where the Organiser postpones rather than cancels it. It is understood that the Organiser retains no sum by way of penalty or consideration for services not provided.
7.3 — Costs incurred independently by the participant. In both cases the Organiser is not liable for further costs incurred independently by the participant, such as travel, transfers, additional accommodation or rentals, for which insurance cover is recommended.
08Changes to the programme
The technical programme, times, slopes used and group allocation may be changed by the Organiser and the instructors at any time for reasons of safety, weather or snow conditions, organisational needs or lift availability. Such changes do not affect the value of the fee and do not give rise to refunds, provided the substance of the purchased experience is preserved.
Any replacement of one of the instructors for force majeure (injury, illness, unforeseen commitments) will be handled by bringing in a technician of equivalent level and does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Double-room allocation. If the participant does not name a roommate, the Organiser allocates participants of the same sex together. If this is not possible, a single room may be offered with the relevant supplement.
09Liability and awareness of risks
Alpine skiing is a sport that involves inherent risks, including falls, collisions, injuries, and variable snow and weather conditions. By registering, the participant declares that they are aware of and accept these risks, that they are in good health and fit for the activity, and that they participate voluntarily.
The participant must comply with the rules of conduct on the slopes (FIS rules and the Italian legislation in force on safety in winter sports), signage, the instructions of the lift operator and the directions of the instructors.
The Organiser is not liable for damage arising from reckless conduct or conduct contrary to the instructions received, from failure to use protective equipment, from the use of inadequate or incorrectly adjusted equipment, nor for damage to personal property and equipment, theft or loss. The Organiser's non-excludable liabilities under the law, including those for wilful misconduct and gross negligence, remain unaffected. Hotel, lift and rental services are provided by the respective suppliers, to whom the relevant conditions apply.
10Conduct and removal
The Organiser reserves the right to exclude from the activities, without any right to a refund, any participant who: behaves dangerously towards themselves or others; fails to comply with the instructors' directions or the slope rules; attends the activities in an unfit physical or mental state, including as a result of alcohol or substances; causes damage to property or persons; or behaves seriously disrespectfully towards other participants, staff or the host facilities.
11Photos and videos
The Workshop is, by its nature, also a communication event: it is documented with photographs and video footage. We distinguish two different uses of the material.
a) Technical video analysis. Footage taken on the slope and used in the evening video-analysis sessions is part of the purchased service and is for teaching purposes only. It is not published.
b) Communication and promotion of the event. By accepting these Terms, the participant authorises the filming, reproduction, publication and dissemination of their image — including in edited or modified material — on websites, social media, promotional materials, press and advertising of the Organiser and of the event's sponsors and partners, in the context of the Workshop's communication, without time or territorial limits and free of charge. The authorisation is given under arts. 10 of the Civil Code and 96–97 of Law 633/1941 and is a contractual condition of participation, made known before purchase.
Limits the Organiser undertakes to respect
- no use that could harm the person's honour, reputation or dignity;
- no transfer of the material to third parties for purposes unrelated to the communication of the Workshop and the Skidemy project;
- no use for profiling, facial recognition or training of automated systems;
- no publication of footage taken in private contexts (changing rooms, SPA areas, hotel rooms).
Right to object. The participant may object at any time, even only for the future, to the promotional use of their image, by writing to skidemyoffice@gmail.com, without this affecting the right to take part in the Workshop or giving rise to additional costs. In that case the Organiser undertakes to: not use close-ups or shots in which the participant is identifiable as the main subject; exclude them from the material selected for publication; remove, on request, content already published on its own channels, within the technical limits of third-party platforms. It is understood that in group and context shots full exclusion may not be technically guaranteed: it is therefore useful to flag the objection before the start of the Workshop, so that the operational arrangements can be agreed.
For the rules on the processing of personal data connected to the images and the applicable legal bases, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
12Complaints, applicable law and jurisdiction
Any complaints must be reported promptly during the Workshop, to allow the Organiser to remedy them, and confirmed in writing within 10 days of the end of the event to skidemyoffice@gmail.com.
The relationship is governed by Italian law. For consumers, the mandatory forum of their place of residence or elected domicile remains unaffected, pursuant to consumer-protection legislation. In dealings with non-consumer participants, the Court of Rome has exclusive jurisdiction.
If any clause of these Terms is held to be invalid, the remaining clauses remain in full force and effect.
